The Forest Genetics Council engaged Drs. D.T. Lester and W.J. Libby to undertake an independent evaluation of somatic embryogenesis for the propagation of genetically improved coniferous trees in B.C. This is their report, along with a letter introducing them to individuals they interviewed in the course of their study.
